Based on what @ghotik said, you need to change Direct3D(2)/Force Vertex Proc. from default to software system.
First run DxWnd, then go to Options. -> Extended mode checked. Then drag and drop the executable to the DxWnd window and then go to the Direct3D(2) tab and change as said above.
